Water Comparisons

I wonder if the ocean compares herself to the lakes.

Does she wish she didn’t take up so much space? 

Is she jealous of how humans don’t seem to be as scared of them?

And if so, do the lakes compare themselves to the rivers?

I bet she wishes she was as thin as them. 

Does she realize that they share the same water?

Do the rivers then compare themselves to streams? 

Is it because they wish they were as small and oblivious? 

The streams probably envy the rivers too.
