A New Endangered Species

Updated: Aug 5, 2025

We all bleed the same red.

We all eat, and drink, and

Why does no one with authority think?

Why have women been fighting for their rights

Since October 5th, 1789

And why are they on the battlefield again?

Norma Macorvey did not win the fight for reproductive rights,

For us to fight again.

Mary Wollenscraft did not write,

For us to be censored again.

Joan of Arc did not win a war,

For females to be at war with each other.

A woman is human just as much, or more, than a man.

Yet we are stripped of our rights,

Treated as blights,

Constantly finding ourselves in a plight.

Must I remind you,

We are the ones that produce your sons?

Now, a woman who is happy with the state of the world

Is just as abundant as a Vaquita.

The amount of women who enjoy watching the news

Resemble the amount of Right Whales left in the ocean

If you must treat us as animals,

I urge you to remember that when a species goes extinct,

The entire ecosystem may collapse.
